• Do something about the 5 million Canadians without a family doctor,
by committing $200 million a year to a program that will ensure a 50%
increase in the number of family doctors and nurses.
Do Something About Crime, Gangs and Guns
• Enable cities, communities and provinces to choose to implement an
Absolute Ban on handguns.
• Increase the number of police officers on the streets and dedicate
police units to combat gangs and organized crime networks.
• Invest in prevention strategies that will tackle the root causes of
crime.
